The First International Dark Sky Reserve in the World Celebrates 5th Anniversary.
The International Dark Sky Reserve (IDSR) in Mt Megantic Quebec just celebrated its 5th anniversary. On September 21, 2007, the region of Mt Megantic was officially designated the first International Dark Sky Reserve in the world!The Mt. Magantic International Dark Sky Reserve covers an area of almost 5,500 km2 .It is centered on the Observatory within the provincial park and has a radius of 50 km. The Reserve also includes the City of Sherbrooke, 60 km away. Mont Megantic is located in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, about a 3 hours’ drive east from Montreal.[...]

Something Old, Something New
Today, I want to share with the story of two clients from the province of Quebec (Canada) who had different needs in outdoor lighting, but they both had one very important point in common, they wanted to be different. They wished to stand out. Those two clients were working on residential development projects. For the outdoor lighting of these two urban projects, our lighting solutions MetroScape and UrbanScape were chosen.[...]
